Drew McIntyre's unreal transformation after WWE release

Drew McIntyre has undergone a pretty insane transformation since first arriving in WWE in 2007.

Drew was first signed to WWE in 2007, debuting on SmackDown later that year, before heading back down to developmental.

In 2009, McIntyre was brought up to SmackDown once again, this time as Vince McMahon’s ‘Chosen One’.

The Scotsman was brought up to the main roster with a lot of fanfare, with McMahon stating that Drew would become a future WWE Champion.

Drew remained on WWE’s main roster for five years, before being granted his release from the company and leaving in 2014.

Fast forward three years, after making a name for himself in independent promotions across the world, Drew returned to WWE in April 2017.

Drew had worked on his skills inside the ring, but also his appearance, and looked remarkably different from when he first turned up in WWE, as you can see by the side-by-side comparison below.

McIntyre, as well as growing some impressive facial hair, has got a lot more bulky since debuting in WWE, and looks a lot bigger in his second run as he did in his first.

The whole package shows Drew to look a lot more physically impressive the second time around, qwhich may be why his fortunes have been slightly better.

McIntyre didn’t live up to his potential in WWE the first time around, but since returning, as gone on to main event WrestleMania, win the Royal Rumble, and become a two-time WWE Champion.

There is no denying that right now, McIntyre is one of WWE’s top stars, right up there alongside Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.

McIntyre is on SmackDown right now, and if reports are to be believed, will be feuding with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns this summer.
