Dramatic footage shows moment suspect flees from stolen Mercedes before police arrest
Dramatic footage caught the moment a suspect ran from a stolen Mercedes just before police arrested him.
The clip was captured on a police vehicle dash-cam yesterday (Monday). Police said a Mercedes had been reported stolen in Sale.
Officers tracked down the car to a car park in Rochdale. When they arrived, the suspect quickly got out of the car and ran from the scene.

The footage captured him running near some trolleys and over a grass verge as police shouted 'abandoned, abandoned'. Officers chased him and he was arrested.
The 24-year-old was detained on suspicion of burglary and other offences. Police also found a 'large amount' of class A and class B drugs after a search.
Greater Manchester Police posted the video on Facebook. Alongside the clip, the force wrote: "After reports of a burglary in #Sale earlier where a Mercedes was stolen, we tracked down the car to this car park in #Rochdale.
"The driver ran off but our vehicle interceptors chased down and arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of burglary among other offences.
"Officers also recovered a large quantity of class A & B drugs after a search."
