Dragons v Edinburgh live updates and kick-off time ahead of big URC opener

The Dragons begin their United Rugby Championship campaign today with a tough encounter against a strong Edinburgh side.

Dai Flanagan has handed a debut to new signing Cai Evans, with the Wales international wearing the number 15 jersey while there are also starts for summer recruits Rodrigo Martinez and Corey Baldwin. Once capped Ollie Griffiths will also make his 100th appearance for the Dragons, and starts in the No 8 jersey.

The Dragons won four of their 18 games in the URC last season, and as a result finished bottom of the Welsh Shield. Edinburgh have decided to start from Scarlets man Javan Sebastian at tighthead prop, and also have World Cup squad member Ben Healey available.
