Drag performers claim they were refused entry at Manchester bar for being in ‘fancy dress’

Two drag performers have criticised a Manchester bar and restaurant after they claimed they were refused entry because they were dressed in ‘fancy dress’ during Manchester Pride.

Yshee Black and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Ginny Lemon both visited Revolución de Cuba on Peter Street in drag on Saturday afternoon (August 27) when they said the incident happened.

Fellow drag artist Fatt Butcher tweeted about the incident in a post which highlighted how the venue is situated within the route for today’s earlier Pride parade.

Yshee did not directly comment online about the incident, but has retweeted tweets from both Fatt and Ginny.

A spokesperson from Revolution Bars Group told the M.E.N: "We are
