Donny van de Beek verdict on Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez signings at Man United

Donny van de Beek believes summer signings Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez will both be excellent additions to the Manchester United squad this season.

United have been active in the transfer window, with Eriksen and Martinez the two latest additions to Erik Ten Hag's squad following the acquisition of left-back Tyrell Malacia earlier in the summer. Ten Hag's side agreed a three-year contract with midfielder Eriksen following his release from Brentford at the end of last season, while defender Martinez joined on a five-year deal from Ajax.

The duo both featured for United in their final pre-season matches last weekend and are both expected to be involved when the new Premier League season starts with a home clash against Brighton on Sunday.

Van de Beek has been hugely impressed with what he has seen so far from the new recruits and believes they will both be great additions to the first-team squad.

''I think they [Martinex and Eriksen] are all enjoying it,'' he told club media. ''Of course, everyone is doing their best to make them feel happy and make them feel at home.

"I have a really good feeling [about them both]. They’re doing great and they will help us a lot.''
