Donegal LGFA confirm John McNulty as new senior manager
Donegal have confirmed the appointment of John McNulty as the new manager of the county's senior women's football team.
McNulty takes over from Maxi Curran, who spent six year's at the helm, where he guided the green and gold to three Ulster titles. His last game in charge was to defeat to Dublin in last July's All-Ireland quarter-final.
After coaching Aodh Ruadh and before that his home club Kilcar, McNulty will now look to get Donegal back up to Division 1 of the National Football League, all before next summer's provincial and All-Ireland campaigns.
In ratifying the appointment, a statement from Donegal LGFA read: "The Kilcar man has a wealth of knowledge and experience of coaching and managing across numerous age grades and levels.
"We would like to wish John and his incoming management team we very best of luck for the coming season and beyond."
