Donald Trump, Bryson DeChambeau Shoot 50 In Highly Entertaining Scramble, Donate Over $200K To Veterans

As soon as U.S. Open Champion Bryson DeChambeau announced he was pairing up with former United States President Donald Trump for a YouTube video, I knew we were in for a treat.

As a fan of DeChambeau and his YouTube channel, I couldn't wait to see what that duo would do.

DeChambeau has a series called "Break 50" where he and his guest play a two-person scramble and try to shoot lower than 50, playing from the red tees (also known as the ladies' tees).

It's a fun challenge, and DeChambeau has played with some big-time golf influencers, including OutKick favorite Paige Spirinac.

DeChambeau said that he invited both Trump and current United States President Joe Biden to join him, but only Trump accepted the offer. The duo played the charity round at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster (N.J.) in the first week of July, before the assassination attempt of Trump on July 13.

He and Trump pledged to donate $10,000 per birdie and $20,000 per eagle during the round to Wounded Warriors, a non-profit that helps U.S. military veterans.

Prior to the round with Donald Trump, the lowest score that DeChambeau and one of his partners carded was exactly 50 shots.

Well, Trump and DeChambeau gave 49 a run, but ultimately the pair tied the low score and shot 50.

That included two solo birdies from Trump, as well as a solo eagle by the former president.

The video is 55 minutes long and was quite a fun watch. I found myself pulling hard for the two men to pull off the 49.

We got our first Joe
