Donal Lenihan's Champions Cup Round 4 preview

To be fair Connacht haven't played that well recently but they were impressive in defeat against Lyon last weekend. I give them a chance tonight. Bristol, of course, coached by their former coach Pat Lam, and that will make it interesting. Connacht to exit the Champions Cup, but they might get the win to give them a boost.

SATURDAY

Win the game and they are in the Round of 16 in April. It won't be easy for Ulster as Harlequins play very well at The Stoop. Ulster were blown away by Toulouse last weekend, albeit Toulouse are one of the best teams in the tournament. Ulster, I think, will come up just short but will be hoping to finish in fifth slot and end up in the Challenge Cup.

Getting as high a seeding as possible is hugely significant for Leinster. Both of these sides have played a lot of times over the last few seasons in this competition. Leinster have always had the edge even though they are playing in Welford Road but I expect Leo Cullen's men to come out on top.

This is the game of the round for me. Northampton have won their last eight games and are top of the Gallagher Premiership. Five of their back line are in the England Six Nations squad, so they are a really top side. Munster's win over Toulon last week could be a season-changer.

I know at Thomond Park they were tickets available before last week but on the back of the win over Toulon I think it's going to be a sell-out. I fancy Munster here.
