‘Don’t buy him!’ – Todd Boehly heckled by Chelsea fan over ‘s**t’ £60m transfer target

Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly was heckled by a supporter during Saturday’s win over Leicester City, with the fan trying to warn the American against signing Everton winger Anthony Gordon.

The west Londoners survived a scare at Stamford Bridge, with a brace from Raheem Sterling helping secure all three points in a narrow 2-1 victory after Conor Gallagher had been sent off for two bookable offences.

There was added intrigue to the match with Wesley Fofana not making the trip to face Chelsea as he closes in on a £75million switch to the Blues, with a medical scheduled for Sunday.

In addition to bringing in the young Leicester centre-back before the transfer window closes, Thomas Tuchel also wants to add another attacker to his ranks and Chelsea have submitted three bids for Everton starlet Gordon.

The latest of those was believed to be worth £60m but was rejected by the Toffees, with Chelsea weighing up whether to return with an improved offer or not.

However, one supporter clearly hopes they move onto other targets, with a clip going viral on social media showing Boehly being yelled at by a fan, who tells him: ‘Todd, don’t buy Gordon! He’s s**t!’

After initially appearing to look around to see who was shouting at him, Boehly did not react to the heckling and continued a conversation with a guest in the director’s box.

While Chelsea were in action against Leicester, Everton were playing just down the road against Brentford with Gordon giving an impressive display.
