Dolphins' Tyreek Hill detained by police before season opener

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was detained by police outside Hard Rock Stadium but has been released and is expected to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Hill reportedly was pulled over for speeding when a verbal spat with police officers ensued.

In a video posted on X by ESPN, Hill can be seen lying face-down on the ground while being handcuffed by police officers.

Hill was not arrested but was cited for reckless driving, ESPN reported.

"Several teammates saw the incident and stopped to offer support," the Dolphins wrote on X.

"Tyreek and all other players involved have safelyarrived to the stadium and will be available for today's game."
