Dolphin Swimming League to feature more schools

The schools, Priory Preparatory and Italian International School are set to challenge the likes of Grange School, St Saviour’s, Greensprings School, Children International School, Lagos Preparatory, Secondary School and Riverbank School, who competed in week one of the competition.

Already, the Nigeria Aquatic Federation and Nigeria School Sports Federation (NSSF), as well as the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), have sanctioned the tournament as an avenue to select outstanding swimmers, who will represent the country in major international competitions.

Meanwhile, Grange School will host week two of the competition, where it hopes to consolidate its dominance.

Organised by Dynaspro Promotions and Advanta Interactive, whose Chief Executive Officer, Efe Ojigbede, said the enthusiasm from week one has shown that the tournament continues to grow in leaps and bounds.

“I am excited with the turnout of students, as well as their parents and guardians in week one. The excellent performance of the students, the good environment and the smooth organisation by the host have prompted us to award week two to Grange School.

“We believe this will encourage more schools to be part of the championships, as there are plans by the Nigeria Aquatic Federation to select swimmers that will represent the country in regional competitions.

“We are hoping that for every edition, we will continue to break new grounds and more stars will emerge from the tournament,” he said.
