Dog walker robbed 'at knifepoint by masked men' in popular park

Police are investigating after a dog walker was 'robbed at knifepoint by masked men' in a popular park.

The terrifying incident happened as the victim walked through Drinkwater Park, Prestwich, at about midday on Friday (July 19). Two men in balaclavas are reported to have approached the man while wielding a large machete.

After threatening 'to stab' the victim, the men fled with several items belonging to him. No injuries were reported, Greater Manchester Police has confirmed.
