Discover how Bolton School prepares pupils for a bright future at one of their forthcoming open days
There are many factors to consider when choosing an education for your child, whether that is nursery, school, college or sixth form, and open days provide the ideal opportunity to really get a feel for your child's next step.
Bolton School is one of the North West's leading private schools and, with more than 2,500 pupils, is one of the largest independent day schools in the country, achieving consistently strong exam results and wider success within the local community.
Catering for all ages, it features a co-educational nursery, co-educational infant school (with a pre-school class), and separate girls and boys junior and senior schools, including sixth forms.
On October 7, it will host an open morning, where prospective students and their parents can take a tour of the 32-acre campus, meet teachers and current pupils, take part in fun activities and find out about entry procedures.
Bolton School aims to help children reach their full potential within both their academic and personal growth. The fun, creativity and learning that takes place in the infant school is consistently ranked as 'outstanding' by the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate (ISI). The junior and senior schools also received top rankings when they were last inspected.
Teachers across the school have a vast range of experience in their specified fields, and the school also places great emphasis on providing children with a range of opportunities to encourage character building, leadership, challenge and teamwork.
Both senior schools offer more than 100 after-school clubs and activities including dance, eco, drama, literary and debating, model UN, proud and medsoc clubs.
Pupils also undertake volunteering activities – the school has won the Queen’s
