Diogo Jota, Alisson Becker, Mohamed Salah - Liverpool injury latest amid Man City title race

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is worried about his team's injury list, which includes Diogo Jota. Jota might be out for a few months and 'keeper Alisson Becker won't play against Luton Town on Wednesday night.

Dominik Szoboszlai is also facing a race against time ahead of the Wembley date with Chelsea in the League Cup final on Sunday. Jota picked up an injury against Brentford last Saturday - Liverpool won 4-1 in that Premier League match.

Alisson had to miss the win over Brentford as he'd injured his hamstring in training the day before. Liverpool are still checking how bad the injury is. While he's recovering, substitute goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher will deputise.

Curtis Jones also got injured recently and isn't ready to face Luton Town on Wednesday. There are reports from Egypt that Mohamed Salah - back on the pitch after a month recovering from a hamstring issue of his own - has picked up another problem.

Speaking about the team's injury situation on Tuesday, Klopp said: "Not great, I would like to say no issues but we have some. Not available: Ali, muscle injury, we don't know how long it will take but definitely not the foreseeable time coming back. Then we have Diogo with a knee issue is ruled out. Curtis, with a bone/ligament issue, is ruled out."

"With others, we will deal with it day by day. With muscle things, we will see for tomorrow. If you see the line-up early enough you can see who made it and who didn't make it. That's it, pretty much."
