Diner who complained about restaurant mistakenly copied into staff email chain and accused of 'making trouble'

A mum-of-three was accused by restaurant staff of 'making trouble' in an email chain she was mistakenly copied into after she lodged a complaint.

Rachael Avis visited The Garden Bistro in Saughton Park, Edinburgh, with her children and parents but unhappy with their experience, she left a review on a local Facebook group. She said she found the service and food to be disappointing and after her review on the group was removed, she emailed the bistro directly to voice her complaint.

They also accused her of 'causing trouble' and eventually decided to pay her a £10 voucher.

Rachael, however, declined the voucher and The Garden Bistro later donated £100 to charity as a way of apology, reports Edinburgh Live.
