Dillian Whyte's brother claims Tyson Fury's dad 'wanted to fight' him before Gypsy King intervened
Dillian Whyte‘s brother has claimed Tyson Fury‘s dad ‘wanted to fight’ him before the Gypsy King personally intervened.
WBC heavyweight champion Fury will put his belt on the line against former sparring partner Whyte inside a packed Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.
Dean Whyte admitted that tensions threatened to boil over after he clashed with John Fury during a face-off at yesterday’s press conference.
But according to Whyte, Fury Sr soon calmed down as soon as his son got involved.
Whyte also admitted he was left bemused by the whole situation before adding he had no interest in fighting ‘an old man’.
He told iFL TV: “John wanted to fight me, I’m not sure what was going on. I was like, ‘Mate, what are you doing?’
“Not being funny but you’re an old man, Fury’s dad, I’m going to give you the respect, I’m not even going to entertain this.
“I said ‘Tyson, talk to this guy man’ and he said ‘Dad, what you doing?’
“We had a press conference, why are you tensing up and raring?
