Dillian Whyte breaks media blackout for press conference with Tyson Fury tonight

Heavyweight boxing rivals Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte will cross paths via Zoom in a huge press conference tonight.

After Whyte failed to appear at the first press event for their April 23 showdown, it became clear that Fury would have to do most of the heavy lifting in terms of the promotion. However, with less than 10 days to go before fight night, it seems as if Whyte is ready to exchange words with ‘The Gypsy King’.

They’ll obviously be doing most of their talking in the ring at Wembley Stadium but as per reports, ‘Body Snatcher’ has agreed to appear at a Zoom press conference tonight at 6pm GMT alongside Tyson Fury, Bob Arum and Frank Warren.

With four personalities as big as that we can only imagine the kind of comments that are going to start flying around, especially if both men are on their A-game.

The plan of action, or so it seems, will be to build anticipation for next Saturday night with the event being held in front of over 90,000 fans at Wembley.

This contest is easily one of the biggest fights in the history of British boxing and the numbers alone are going to speak volumes. At the same time, there’s definitely a sense of intrigue behind what comes next for the winner of this fight.

Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua are preparing to meet in a rematch this summer with the winner of that bout holding the majority of the belts in the heavyweight division.

A full unification fight isn’t out of the question but if it’s going to happen, all parties involved would need to strike while the iron is hot after both de-facto ‘semi-finals’ have concluded.
