Devastation as girl, 10, found dead in house after fire
A 10-year-old girl has died in a house fire in West Yorkshire. The horror happened in Bradford at around 1am in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
Emergency services reached to the scene after a blaze broke out at a property on Kingsdale Drive in the north of the city. A woman, aged 37, and three children, aged 11, six and three, had all managed to escaped the building burning and were taken to hospital.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, West Yorkshire Police said. A fourth child, a 10-year-old girl, was sadly found inside the house and pronounced dead at the scene, the force added.

The house remained sealed off on Sunday, Yorkshire Live reports, while an upstairs window appeared to have been either kicked out or forced out by the fire.
Devastated neighbours have placed flowers at the scene and told the website that the children had been playing outside just hours before the tragedy. One said: “I’m devastated to hear there’s been a tragedy."
Another local mum said she had seen the children previously playing in the garden and was shocked to hear what had happened. “It’s really sad especially after having seen them playing out.”
A neighbour, who was placing flowers at the scene, said she was woken by her dogs and saw the bedroom was on fire. “I said that’s the girls bedroom - I shouted to the fire brigade. I didn’t know they had got three out already.
The fire brigade went straight in." The woman’s neighbour added: “I’m absolutely gutted - it’s my daughter’s friend.”
