Detained in Libya: Gallants working with authorities to get employees back to SA
DStv Premiership outfit Marumo Gallants have revealed that they are working with relevant authorities after two employees were detained at a Libyan hotel due to a financial dispute after a CAF Confederation Cup match in March.
Rufus Matsena, the team's media liaison, and Tebogo Amos Dhlomo, the team's physiotherapist, were detained at the hotel following the Limpopo club's match against Al Akhdar on 19 March.
Despite the regrettable incident, Marumo Gallants management has confirmed that both employees are safe and awaiting a resolution of the matter.
Once the situation has been resolved, the club will hold a media briefing to address any queries or concerns. The details for the briefing will be announced at a later date.
