Derry run riot to send champions Tyrone into qualifiers
Derry shocked All-Ireland champions Tyrone with a 1-18 to 0-10 win at O'Neills Healy Park to set up an Ulster SFC semi-final clash with Monaghan.
The Oak Leafs were three points ahead when Tyrone midfielder Brian Kennedy received a straight red card, and soon afterwards, Shane McGuigan netted a penalty to give his side a 1-8 to 0-4 interval lead.
Derry controlled the second half, with scores from Benny Heron, Loughlin, McGuigan and Emmet Bradley seeing them comfortably into the last four, and its the qualifiers for the Red Hands.
