Derek McInnes brimming with Kilmarnock confidence as he cites 'loads of reasons' things are looking good

Derek McInnes wants Kilmarnock to be the biggest animal they can be.

But he knows they simply need to stay up to make it happen. And McInnes is adamant it will still be a successful season if his troops can get over the safety line and secure that opportunity to kick on in the near future. Killie head for Tannadice on Wednesday with the gaffer believing four points from the last two pressure-cooker games against Dundee United and Ross County will be enough to keep them afloat.

The manager sees the potential for Killie to take big strides forward as a club as he said: “I genuinely believe that for loads of reasons. “I just think we found ourselves in a situation last summer where we had so much to do. The consequence of that has maybe played out this season. We all have to take our fair share of responsibility
