Derby County confirm tenth summer transfer
Derby County have completed the signing of former Manchester City defender Kwaku Oduroh as the Rams made their 10th signing of the summer.
The right-back, who can also play as a holding midfielder, has signed a two-year contract at Pride Park having impressed on trial in the club's pre-season win over Bradford City last weekend.
Oduroh arrives on a free transfer after being released this summer by Manchester City where he captained their under-18s side to the Premier League National title.
The 19-year-old confirmed his departure from City this week having spent 14 years at the club during which time he was elevated to first-team training under Pep Guardiola.
Since arriving at Derby, the full-back has made a huge impression with interim boss Liam Rosenior praising the defender's performance against the Bantams having played the first half of the 2-0 win.
Oduroh will be part of the first-team set-up at the Rams and is now set to feature in the friendly clash against Hertha Berlin at Pride Park this weekend.
His arrival comes 24 hours after Derby completed the signings of James Collins and goalkeeper Scott Loach and it is understood the club is still on the search for further additions. Another goalkeeper will be one of them.
