Deontay Wilder knocks out Robert Helenius on boxing return

Deontay Wilder finally stepped foot in the ring once again on Saturday night, taking on Robert Helenius at the Barclay’s Center in New York, with The Bronze Bomber putting on a show again for the fans.

He’s renowned for his knockout prowess, something that he continued to display with his savage victory over Helenius.

The Bronze Bomber showed off a new slimmer physique in the ring, with him looking completely different to his fights with Tyson Fury.

His trilogy with Fury will go down in history, with three blockbuster fights which saw The Gypsy King dominate The Bronze Bomber.

After a draw in the opening fight which saw Fury effectively rise from the dead, he followed that up with a technical knockout and a knockout victory, asserting his dominance as one of the top dogs in the heavyweight division.

Since then, Wilder has been absent from the ring, taking just over a year out, but his return to say the least has been triumphant, with Wilder back to his old self.

It took The Bronze Bomber just the one round to knockout Robert Helenius, with Wilder on top throughout the fight, never looking in any serious trouble and proving to us why he is such a ferocious striker in the ring.

Very few men have been able to leave the ring without being knocked out by The Bronze Bomber, with Helenius signing his name on the growing list of victims for Wilder, who will surely be turning his attentions back to another title shot.

Wilder has only won this fight since losing his belts, but he’s still incredibly hot property in boxing, with a potential fourth fight with Fury or even a showdown with Oleksansdr Usyk to focus on, although he may want a few more fights under his belt to shake off the ring rust, although he still has that savage
