Dejan Kulusevski a doubt for north London derby after Spurs star suffers injury on international duty

Tottenham are sweating on the fitness of winger Dejan Kulusevski after the midfielder suffered a muscle injury on international duty with Sweden.

Arsenal news, exclusives and analysis

Antonio Conte’s side take on rivals Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday, with the white half of north London looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season.

But the side look set to be without Kulusevski after he reported back to London with a tight hamstring on Wednesday.

The Swede underwent a scan after reporting to Spurs’ training base and he complained of a muscle issue.

The winger started both of Sweden’s Nations League matches during the international break against Slovenia and Serbia.

Should he miss the derby, Heung-Min Son and Richarlison can be expected to provide support for Harry Kane in attack.

Son kickstarted his season with a hat-trick against Leicester before the break and he scored twice for South Korea on international duty.

Arsenal go into the game as league leaders, despite losing their unbeaten run to Manchester United before the international break.

The last time the two teams faced one another Spurs came out on top in a victory that was crucial in the side’s Champions League qualification.
