Debenhams £24 beauty box contains nearly £200-worth of products from Lancome, Elizabeth Arden and Mario Badescu

Debenhams have launched a huge beauty box that rivals the likes of offerings from Boots, LookFantastic and Glossybox. The retailer's Skin Discovery Beauty Box comes in at £24 but contains a glut of products worth more than seven times the price.

It comes after Boots launched its £25 Spring Skincare Edit box, which proved to be so popular with shoppers that it sold out in days. However, with contents worth nearly £100, it means that Debenhams' offering is quite the competitor.

While the Boots box cost £25, it featured 11 products with a total value of around £98, we found in our review of the box . But Debenhams's version is said to be worth £184, containing 16 products for £24, meaning shoppers can save around £160 on the RRP.

The Skin Discovery Beauty Box was originally £30, but has been reduced to £24 and is bursting with the biggest names and must-have routine essentials, boasting the season's top picks for beauty beginners and gurus alike.

Some of the standout products featured in the edit include the Bloom and Blossom Bath Oil, which is usually £20 alone, as well as the This Works Morning Expert Hyaluronic Serum, worth £18.50.

Meanwhile, skincare favourites like the Dr Paw Paw balm are usually £7.25, and the Korres Greek Yoghurt Moisturiser is worth £14.

As well as a selection of full sized products, there are some highly coveted luxury samples, too, from the Lancome Genifique, to
