David Moyes may bolster West Ham forward line with summer transfer move for Chelsea striker

Chelsea are set for a very busy summer transfer window as manager Thomas Tuchel continues the process of moulding the squad into one that fully represents his identity.

The west Londoners are likely to offload a whole host of players before the beginning of the new Premier League campaign as the club prepares for a new chapter under Todd Boehly's ownership. The likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic have been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge, and another player who is reportedly attracting Premier League interest is Armando Broja.

According to a recent report, West Ham have registered their interest in signing the Albanian forward who spent last season on loan at Southampton, with Broja said to be top of David Moyes' shopping list as the Hammers begin the process of strengthening their forward line.

When analysing Broja's profile, it's no surprise to see why many clubs are interested in acquiring his signature. The likes of Arsenal and Spurs were previously rumoured to monitor his situation.

The 20-year-old is a threat in behind, both in central areas and through the channels, thereby allowing him to be a serious transitional threat as well as possessing the capability of dropping deep and bringing others into play, although this quality of his needs further refining.

In terms of Broja's output for Southampton last season on loan, he managed to notch nine goals in thirty-eight matches across all competitions, six of which came in the Premier League.

The uncertainty surrounding club-record signing Romelu Lukaku's future could, however, result in Broja staying at Chelsea, although should a top offer come in for him, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Blues part ways.
