David Haye's top 10 greatest heavyweights of all time is absolutely stacked with legends

David Haye‘s list of top 10 heavyweight boxers of all time is seriously, seriously stacked.

Back in 2020, former British boxer Haye unsurprisingly revealed Muhammad Ali was the best ever when it comes to the heavyweight division.

To make the list, they had to be a retired fighter over the age of 45, ruling out Tyson Fury making the cut, but there’s still some true greats included.

He tweeted the list when talk was rife over the possibility of Mike Tyson vs Evander Holyfield 3.

Ali was top, which no one can surely argue with – he retired with a record of 56 wins and five losses, but it was his style and personality that makes him the most popular.

Haye placed Brit Lennox Lewis in second place, which is perhaps down to the fighters he had to contend with in the ring.

One of those fighters Evander Holyfield was in third place. Lewis and Holyfield famously fought twice, with a draw being the result of the first bout and then Lewis coming out on top in the rematch.

George Foreman comes next in the top 10 with his extraordinary record of 76 wins and five losses.

The man also known for the Lean Mean Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine fought 81 times as a professional, which is quite incredible considering the number of fights that take place in the current era.

Larry Holmes is fifth and Iron Mike Tyson makes it into sixth place due to the fear he was able to strike into opponents.

Smokin’ Joe Frazier makes it into seventh with the American being part of a great era of boxing that involved fights against Ali and Foreman.

He fought The Greatest three times, winning the first fight before coming up short in the next two fights between the pair.

Sonny Liston, Ken Norton and Riddick Bowe complete the top 10 list with some big names
