David de Gea blames 'curse' for Manchester United's poor form

David de Gea claims Manchester United could be under a curse as their dismal season continues.

United’s hopes of salvaging something from the current campaign lie in the balance as they battle to try and clinch a top-four position in the Premier League.

"People always ask me and we talk about it as team-mates and we just say, 'we don't know what's happening'."

United will be aiming to get their top four hopes back on track on Saturday as they host Southampton at Old Trafford.

While they sit just a point off fourth, both Arsenal and Tottenham hold two games in hand on them, meaning they will have to rely on results elsewhere if they are to finish
