Darwin Nunez price set and other Manchester United transfer rumours

Manchester United are preparing to launch a €71million bid for Benfica starlet Darwin Nunez during the upcoming transfer window - according to reports. Nunez has emerged as one of the hottest properties in Europe this season due to his impressive form for the Portuguese outfit.

The 22-year-old has scored 26 goals in all competitions from 33 appearances. Nunez is on the radar for elite teams across the continent and is thought to be demanding Champions League football next term.

Of course, United still have work to do in that respect as they find themselves locked in a fierce top-four race with Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham. Arsenal remain in pole position.
