Danny McGuire provides Dean Hadley and Shaun Kenny-Dowall injury update after Wakefield victory
Dean Hadley could have played his last game for Hull KR after sustaining another serious injury in Sunday's 15-10 victory over Wakefield Trinity. The reliable forward is out of contract at the end of 2022 with his future still unknown.
Head coach Danny McGuire is still unsure of the extent of Hadley's injury, but it is the same shoulder setback that made him miss a substantial amount of games in 2021. McGuire is also still waiting for an update on captain Shaun Kenny-Dowall, who was sent to hospital after leaving the field in the first half.
After Sunday's results, there is plenty of relief around Sewell Group Craven Park as the Robins picked up only their second win in 10 games as they moved up to eight on the Super League ladder.

"It's like a poisoned chalice whoever plays there. I'll know more soon. Kenny-Dowall got a bad elbow to his throat, and he went to the hospital. He was struggling to talk, but when I saw him leave the ground, he was fine. The medical team just wanted to take no precautions. Fingers crossed for Skids."
Hadley's premature exit saw debutant Sam Royle come on earlier than expected, as McGuire handed plenty of praise to the St Helens loanee
