Danny Jones makes crucial mistake at the start of I'm A Celeb jungle journey
McFly singer Danny Jones may be one of the early favourites to take home the title of King of the Jungle on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, but he has revealed that he made a crucial mistake even before his journey began. Having signed up for this year’s series alongside the likes of Coleen Rooney and GK Barry, Danny, 38, is just days away from calling the ITV camp his home. However, things haven’t started all too well for The Voice star after he admitted that he’d made a huge mishap prior to catching his flight Down Under.
Ahead of the show’s launch on Sunday, 17 November, Danny explained how the morning of his flight was a particularly stressful one for two reasons. Firstly, he was leaving his wife Georgia to move home alone and, secondly, he’d misplaced one crucial item. “And here's the double reason why it was stressful: I couldn't find my passport in the morning.
So I was literally going, ‘Darling, I've got to go to the airport now and I can't find my passport!’,” he revealed. “So I was literally like, it was such a quick goodbye, I felt like I've not really said goodbye. But in a way, I look at that as a bit of a positive, because it wasn't so like, you know, long-winded and kind of like, I don't know when I'm going to see him again.
“It was like, 'I've got to go check the car at the studio, check this place, you know. I've got to find my passport. So that's why you can see that shocking picture of me turning up to the airport looking dishevelled.” However, it turns out that Danny wasn’t as disorganised as he initially thought.
In fact, his passport was found among his belongings. “Well, here's the thing: I already packed it in my bag!,” he laughed. “I was already prepped, man.
