Damning message sent to Everton owner Moshiri live on Sky Sports

David Ornstein has sent a very clear message to Everton owner Farhad Moshiri while speaking live on Sky Sports.

Everton dramatically managed to secure their Premier League safety at Goodison Park last night despite going 2-0 down in the first half to Crystal Palace with goals from Michael Keane, Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin enough to secure all three points.

It was a relief of emotions as fans even invaded the pitch before full time and then after the final whistle, with one fan approaching Patrick Vieira and gesturing towards the Frenchman, which will have put a downer on the scenes.

Now they’re secure for another season in the top flight, Ornstein has urged Moshiri to now have constancy at Everton as he said:

‘It extends down to the manager they need to show faith in him and now that survival has been attained, will Lampard continue on this contract, will they look to renegotiate, how much will they back him in the market and how much are they able to with the Financial Fair Play restrictions.

‘They’ve also got a new stadium build on the way so I just think it stems from the top unless that consistency is found I think Everton are going to continue to chop and change and that’s not healthy for them.’

It is quite mad to see how many managers Everton have gone through in the past few seasons with the likes of Marco Silva, Ronald Koeman and Rafael Benitez all receiving the boot from Moshiri which has ultimately seen them end up in this precarious position, as well as the huge waste of money on transfers.
