Dad of Felicity-May Harvey appears in court charged with her murder

The father of Felicity-May Harvey has appeared in court accused of her murder. Darin Harvey, 25, appeared in the dock at Manchester Magistrates' Court this afternoon (April 21), wearing a pink t-shirt and grey shorts.

He is charged with one offence of murder of Felicity-May Harvey, who died in Heywood last year. Mr Harvey spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address. No pleas were entered at this stage.

Police were called to a report of concern for her welfare and she sadly passed away in hospital on January 11, 2021.

The case was sent to Manchester Crown Court to be heard tomorrow, Friday April 22. Mr Harvey, of Birch Road, Wardle, was remanded into custody.
