Crystal Palace transfer news: Malcolm Ebiowei deal done, with Vieira tempted by impressive Derby rise
Crystal Palace have confirmed the arrival of winger Malcolm Ebiowei from Derby County, with the 18-year-old delighted at his new five-year deal.
Palace enjoyed their first season under manager Patrick Vieira last term, the Frenchman leading the club into a new era. Following a 12th-placed Premier League finish, the Eagles are looking to take the next step.
And they have made an exciting nod towards the future with the arrival of Ebiowei from the Rams.
The teenager has capped off an impressive six months for the struggling League One side with the summer transfer.
Speaking to his new club’s official website, Ebiowei revealed he hopes to stamp his mark at Palace in his debut season.
“I’d like to thank everyone at Derby County for their incredible support over the last year or so, and for giving me the opportunity to show what I can do on the field, and I’d also like to thank the fans for their encouragement especially given the circumstances of last season,” the winger said.
