However, the actress was taunted by a section of the crowd at the stadium as they chanted the name of Indian tennis icon and Malik's ex-wife Sania Mirza. In videos posted by fans on social media, Javed could be seen glaring at the spectators but on one instance, she even turned towards the crowd and waved as the chants continued.

Malik's half-century was not enough to clinch the game for his side as Multan Sultans won the game by 55 runs thanks to a good knock by Reeza Hendricks and a three-wicket haul by Mohammad Ali.
