Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr £60million Manchester United raid and other transfer rumours

Cristiano Ronaldo's Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr are reportedly set to offer Manchester United £60million to sign Casemiro in the January transfer window.

MEN Sport understands Casemiro is one of the players Erik ten Hag is open to selling either this window or in the summer as he eyes a squad rebuild. The former Real Madrid man has been out of action at Old Trafford since the start of November when he picked up a serious muscular issue.

However, even before his injury, Casemiro's performances this season have been a shadow of last season. Now, according to HITC Football, Al Nassr are ready to push the boat out to sign the Brazilian.

It is understood the 31-year-old is the top target for the Pro League club this winter and Al Nassr are at the front of the queue to complete a deal. Casemiro is thought to be keen to stay at United and wants to fight for his future in Manchester.

Elsewhere, Football Insider understands United rejected the chance to sign West Ham star Mohammed Kudus for £6m when he was at Danish club Nordsjaelland. Kudus joined the Danes in 2018 after making a name for himself at the Ghanaian academy Right to Dream.

During two years in Denmark, Kudus made a name for himself and was poached by Ten Hag for Ajax in 2020. Speculation suggested the Reds' boss may make a move for the 23-year-old last summer but the decision was made not to pursue the forward and he eventually joined the Hammers. Since moving to the capital, Kudus has moved from strength to strength with 13 goals to his name in all competitions this campaign.
