Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly turned down a huge transfer proposal from Saudi Arabia as he looks to leave Manchester United.
Earlier this month, Ronaldo’s representatives made it known that the Portuguese forward wanted to leave United this summer should the Red Devils receive a suitable offer for him. But he has struggled to find any potential suitors with various clubs deciding not to take up an interest.
Reports on Wednesday night claimed that a club from Saudi Arabia have submitted a bid that would see Ronaldo earn £211m over a two-year period at around £2m a week, giving Ronaldo a potential route away from Old Trafford.
That report came from CNN Portugal, who also suggest that should United agree to the proposal, they would receive a transfer fee of around £25m to sell Ronaldo just a year after signing him from Italian side Juventus.
However, ESPN have claimed that Ronaldo’s head has not been turned by the Saudi proposal and that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner will reject that offer that
