Cristiano Ronaldo outs himself as secret Soccer AM fan with segment he always enjoyed

Cristiano Ronaldo openly professed his affection for the Soccer AM 'Showboat' segment - surprising fans by revealing his enjoyment of the show.

The Manchester United legend made numerous appearances on the show throughout his stints with the Premier League giants and Real Madrid.

Ferdinand, 45, shared a light-hearted memory: "You used to sit there and watch Sky [and] when the Showboat segment come on, he used to go 'ayyyyy'", as both football legends shared a moment of laughter, reports the Mirror.

Ronaldo was undoubtedly among the many fans left heartbroken when the iconic show was cancelled earlier this year after a 29-year run. Initially airing from 9am to 12pm, in its later years the show was broadcast from 10:30am.

The early morning time slot is now occupied by Saturday Social, which features YouTubers and content creators in an attempt
