Cristiano Ronaldo nets hat-trick and provides outrageous assist for Sadio Mane in Al-Nassr victory

Cristiano Ronaldo was at his scintillating best on Friday evening, scoring a hat-trick as Al-Nassr recorded their first league win of the season with a 5-0 thrashing of Al Fateh.

The former Manchester United striker had endured a tough start to his first full season in Saudi Arabia, with Al-Nassr losing their first two Saudi Pro League games. Victory in their AFC Champions League play-off clash against Shabab Al-Ahli got the ball rolling on Tuesday and Luis Castro's side stepped things up a notch again on Friday.

Ronaldo got in on the action 10 minutes later, doubling Al-Nassr's lead with a header from close range to send his side into the break 2-0 up.

The win propels Al-Nassr back up the Saudi Pro League table, with Ronaldo's side now 10th after three games. They host Al-Shabab at the KSU Football Field on Tuesday.
