Cristiano Ronaldo has already delivered verdict on his Man Utd future amid Chelsea transfer link

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has already indirectly rubbished any chances of moving to Chelsea by admitting that he is ''happy' to be where he is right now in the Premier League amid speculation that the forward is beginning to become frustrated with the transfer activity of the Red Devils.

The United forward who registered a total of 27 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils last summer has 12 months remaining on his current deal. It is understood that United's lack of transfer ambition showed so far in this summer's window has frustrated the six-time Ballon d'Or winner as negotiations continue to drag out with Barcelona over the Frenkie de Jong signing. With all focus solely on that alone, new manager Erik ten Hag is going to struggle to get other targets out of his former club Ajax over the coming weeks.

The current Dutch champions have already sold a number of their key stars this summer with Sebastian Haller's move to Borussia Dortmund now having a knock-on effect on the futures of Jurrien Timber, Arsenal-linked Lisandro Martinez and Spurs target Antony, both of whom are heavily wanted by ten Hag. Unless ridiculous money is involved, Ajax will stand firm and not let any more of their key stars leave - a stance which could jeopardise United's transfer window and further frustrate Ronaldo, who has already been offered to Bayern Munich by super-agent Jorge Mendes.
