Cristiano Ronaldo forced to move on from Chelsea transfer as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 'close'

The main attraction for CR7 to Chelsea was the prospect of continuing his love affair with the Champions League. However, manager Thomas Tuchel decided to opt for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang instead and the Portuguese has been on the back burner with the view of being re-visited if the former Arsenal striker were to reject an early move back to London.

But with that looking increasingly unlikely, the 37-year-old is needing to find new options if he were to secure a Man United exit. And it seems a new club has stepped forward in the form of Borussia Dortmund.
