What followed that was "Ronaldo. Fed up of writing his name in this tie."

By the end they'd completely had enough. "Not even saying it this time," was tweeted as Ronaldo scored his hat-trick.

They're the kind of levels we won't be seeing again for a long time.

Madrid would go on to win the Champions League that season during a sensational run which saw them win three in a row.

A huge chunk of that was down to Ronaldo and his influence up front.

He's scored six in six this campaign and in games against Villarreal and Atalanta, his last minute goals earned United a win and a draw respectively.

United are currently level at 1-1 in their last 16 tie with Atletico Madrid.
