Cristiano Ronaldo has arrived at training after his hat-trick display in Manchester United's win over Tottenham on Saturday.

The Red Devils star scored only his second treble for the Red Devils as they kept their top four hopes alive.

He drove into training at Carrington in a convertible Aston Martin, worth a cool £200k, as he and his United teammates turn their attention to Atletico Madrid.

Ronaldo returned to the starting XI on Saturday having missed the Manchester derby. The reason behind his omission was due to injury, although that theory has since been challenged.

The Portuguese star put any doubts to one side however as he notched three times against Tottenham.

His hat-trick goal came with nine minutes left and proved to be the winner whilst it also made him the FIFA all-time top goalscorer.

United are up against rivals Arsenal for fourth spot, with the Gunners very much in pole position due to having three games in hand.

Interim boss Ralf Rangnick said on Ronaldo's performance: "He made the difference today for sure. But not only the three goals he scored, also his work rate against the ball when Tottenham was in possession was so far the best performance.
