Crash closes one lane of the M4 near Newport and causes long delays - updates

A crash has closed a lane of the M4 this morning.

Traffic Wales has reported a collision on the westbound carriageway between junction 24 (Coldra) and junction 25 (Caerleon). The incident was reported just before 11am on Saturday, August 6.

Emergency services are reportedly en route and lane one of three has been closed as a result. Google's traffic monitoring service shows long queues heading both east and west on the M4 around Newport at 11.15am.
