Covid could hit India's preparations for England Test

Team India head coach Rahul Dravid has joined the Test squad in Leicester, where they will take on Leicestershire in a four-day warm-up game match ahead of their fifth and final Test against England at Edgbaston, Birmingham which will start from July 1.

"Yes, Virat too was hit by Covid after returning from holidaying in Maldives, but he's recovered now," a source told this paper. A few enthusiastic fans have put their selfies with Kohli in Leicester on Monday. "This now means that India's tour game against Leicestershire from June 24 won't be as intense as coach Rahul Dravid wanted it to be, since the medical advice is to not overload the players after they've suffered Covid-19. There could be more Covid cases in the team," revealed the source.
