Coventry City unveil yet another 'unreal' new shirt for the 2022/23 Championship campaign

Coventry City have delighted supporters with yet another kit reveal - today unveiling the away goalkeeper kit for the 2022/23 season.

The new shirt is completely bespoke to the Sky Blues after the club worked closely with Hummel on another unique and iconic kit design. This season’s away goalkeeper kit, like other kits for this season, takes inspiration from Coventry’s famous Cathedral, which is celebrating 60 years since its consecration.

An enlarged section from a stained-glass window of Coventry Cathedral is used on the sleeves of the shirt to create a striking and unique geometric pattern, while using the colours from the Cathedral’s iconic Baptistry Window. The front and back of the shirt is black, while the famous Hummel chevrons are in white on each sleeve.

Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said: “We’re delighted to reveal the away goalkeeper kit for the upcoming 22/23 season. After the huge success of the home goalkeeper kit, we expect that this fantastic, eye-catching design will also be hugely popular with Coventry City supporters.

“We again have a superb, iconic kit design and a goalkeeper kit style that Sky Blues fans will not have had before and will hopefully love.”

The new away goalkeeper kit will be available to pre-order from Midday (Thursday 30th June) at www.ccfcstore.com – fans who pre-order will receive the kit ahead of general sale.

The kit will go on General Sale on 21st July at 9:30am in the Club Shop at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

I mean that is flames too! Not one bad shirt this season. Just need some new players to be seen in them.
