Cove Rangers promoted to Championship as Mitch Megginson fires Paul Hartley's side to League One crown

Cove Rangers will play Championship football next season after securing promotion this afternoon.

Paul Hartley's side were crowned League One champions following a 1-0 win at home to Dumbarton.

The points took Cove's total to 76 for the season with three more to play for.

The Aberdeenshire side now celebrate three promotions in four seasons.
