"Could be interesting to Tottenham" - Journalist drops 93-goal ace & Harry Kane swap deal claim

Manchester United including Marcus Rashford in a potential deal for Harry Kane could be a proposition that interests Tottenham, claims journalist Pete O’Rourke.

Kane continues to be linked with a move to Old Trafford, while Rashford is currently thought to be unhappy there.

According to The Telegraph, United have their eyes on Kane and his England team-mate Declan Rice ahead of the summer transfer window.

Ajax manager Erik ten Hag is closing in on the United job, and the same outlet claims that the Red Devils are ready to back him in the market.

The arrival of any new forward could put more doubt on Rashford’s future, with the 24-year-old having grown disillusioned with life at Old Trafford this season.

Last month, The Guardian reported that Rashford was giving serious consideration to asking for a move away from his boyhood club after falling out of favour under Ralf Rangnick.

O’Rourke thinks Rashford being offered in a deal for Kane could interest Tottenham if their talisman is hell-bent on leaving north London this summer.

When asked about the possibility of such a deal taking place, the transfer insider told GIVEMESPORT: “Maybe the potential availability of Marcus Rashford could be interesting to Tottenham because he hasn’t really figured much for Manchester United, especially in the second half of the season, and is meant to be unhappy at Old Trafford.”

It is going to be almost impossible to replace a No.9 of Kane’s calibre. Therefore, Spurs have to do all they can to keep him at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the 2022/23 campaign and beyond.
