Corrie's Lucy Fallon shares baby son's name weeks after birth as she details his arrival for first time

Lucy Fallon has confirmed the name of her son and shared details from his birth for the first time, weeks after he made his arrival into the world. The former Coronation Street actress welcomed her first child, a baby boy, into the world last month. with her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson.

The couple, who announced they were expecting when Lucy was five months pregnant in September, confirmed their newborn's birth earlier this month alongside a snap of themselves as beaming new parents with their newborn baby boy.

Sharing the news, Lucy, who played Bethany Platt in Corrie from 2015 to 2022, posted a sweet black and white image of herself and Ryan as she cradled their precious bundle of joy. "Our beautiful boy," she captioned the photo as she shared that he was welcomed into the world on January 30.

She was quickly flooded with congratulatory messages with her former soap co-stars leading the gushing messages. Lucy, who hails from Blackpool, has since been sharing little updates into life as a new mum but hadn't confirmed her son's name - until now.

Speaking exclusively to OK! Magazine, Lucy and Preston North End footballer Ryan, who live together in West Lancashire, revealed their baby boy is named Sonny Jude. While they admitted there’s no particular meaning behind the name, it was one of the only ones that the couple could agree on.
