Corrie fans divided over 'uncomfortable' scene between Lauren and 'soap legend'

Coronation Street fans have said tonight's episode (August 14) made for "uncomfortable watching" due to a scene before soap stalwart Roy Cropper and Lauren Bolton. The young teenager had another falling out with her ex-boyfriend Max, which led her to storming out.

During their meal in the café, Roy then talked Lauren around to sleeping on his sofa, because "he didn't want to lose any sleep" worrying about her. His act of generosity was the only thing keeping Lauren off the streets and she quickly accepted.
